What this tool checks:
- The number must be exactly 12 digits
- It must not start with 0 or 1
- It must not be all same digits (e.g., 222222222222)
- The last digit must pass the Verhoeff checksum algorithm
What this tool does NOT do:
- It does not verify if the Aadhaar is actually issued by UIDAI
- It does not connect to any government database
- Your number is never sent to any server — validation is 100% client-side
